Sally Temple
Born and raised on the North Norfolk Coast, Sally is especially passionate about her local surroundings and has painted now for over 30 years. She spends her working life as a full time artist walking the breath taking North Norfolk coastline. Whilst out there Sally takes photos on her phone and uses these for geographical detail and most importantly the emotion of the day and weather she experiences in order to produce her paintings.
Sally's work is rather unique in the fact that she uses only her fingers to create her oil paintings, with her love for the effects of light on her beloved coast being her ever growing inspiration.
Sally had her work selected to hang in the Institute of East Anglian Artists [IEA] Annual Open Exhibition for 5 years running and subsequently gained full membership of the prestigious institute. As well as holding successful one woman exhibitions at various venues across Norfolk.
Sally is very happy to do commission work and has successfully completed many paintings that have been given as special anniversary gifts etc.
Her work is collected by many who share the same love and passion for the glorious North Norfolk Coast. Her paintings form part of private collections in both Australia and America.
